Donald E Mabumba, MBChB, MPH, Cert. QRM, DPAM
Donald Mabumba is an experienced public health officer with over 25 years of experience in health services at district and national levels. He also has extensive experience in infectious diseases and has participated in controlling several outbreaks and their surveillance (Cholera, Ebola, and COVID-19). He served as the deputy national Tuberculosis TB and Leprosy control program. Donald was a lecturer at the medical school of Mbarara University of Science and Technology and Lund University in Sweden. Currently, he is working with Baylor, Uganda, to support surveillance in the development of IDSR and its nationwide role. Donald is also involved in the control of measles outbreak, and support of the outbreak preparedness and response plans, activation of District task forces and the response pillars.
